This site is so named because of its location directly in
front of 3 seaside temples. Surveyed as a dive site in early
1995 and since protected from the havoc of destructive
fishing methods, it has recovered to become one of our
favorite locations, especially for night dives. Its
proximity to shore means visibility rarely gets as good as
on the reefs further out, but the nutrient-rich waters
flowing past bring plenty of food for its abundant marine
life. Its steep wall is covered with large fans, sponges,
and soft corals, while the rare "flaming scallop" inhabits
its nooks and crannies.
Best Depths: 3 to 26 metres.
Visibility: 8 to 20 metres, average 15 metres.
Travel Time From Shore: 8 to 10 minutes
