TANGKAD TENGAH (Midway Reef)

Although its location has been known for many years, it is only recently that we have noticed it’s recovery from severe damage in the early 1990’s. Now with a multitude of colourful seafans and table corals at 15 to 40 metres, there are also some nice coral gardens on top at around 5 metres. Like most reefs here, there are always lots of strange and unusual critters to be found.

Best Depths: 16 to 30 metres.
Visibility: 10 to 30 metres.
Travel Time From Shore: 5 to 10 minutes
