The Reef Seen Team
Director
Founder of Reef Seen Aquatics and the first to see the potential of
diving in the Pemuteran area, Chris Brown is from Australia. He
started Reef Seen Aquatics in 1992 as his semi-retirement, but with
his enthusiasm to do better, he just can’t slow down! He is the one
responsible for helping the locals understand just how and why they
need to protect the marine environment, starting the Turtle Project,
Reef Seen Dancers, Reef Gardeners and many more community projects
around Pemuteran. Locals call him Pak Nyoman with respect – which he
certainly has earned in his many years in Pemuteran.
Dive Instructors
Amanda and Adrian joined Reef Seen Aquatics in September 2009. They
have been diving since 1995 and teaching others to dive since 2005.
They left England in 2009 with the hope that a friendly and
professional dive operation would allow them to live a simple life
somewhere a little warmer than the UK. Passing through Pemuteran on
their travels, they just dropped in to Reef Seen for a chat and
after a cuppa with Chris, he took a liking to them, and their
attitudes towards diving and life in general, and decided to make
their dreams come true and employed them. They are now an important
part of the team and will be happy to help and advise with any of
your underwater needs.
Dive Guides and Staff
Our local dive guides were born and raised in Pemuteran, and grew up
as fishermen so they know the local seas. They are remarkable marine
naturalists and highly capable guides who will introduce you to the
undersea world of North West Bali.
Our dive guides, together with our experienced boatmen and the rest
of our friendly staff, will do their very best to ensure that your
holiday with us is enjoyable, memorable, and safe.
